Our latest update for Zinnia has lots of exciting new things going on! Everything you need to know about our latest update is right here.
The key features in this release are:
- Home Screen. This brand new section will be the new landing page for all users - a central place with easy, intuitive navigation for all of your recent pages, favorite journals, content highlights, the latest editorials, and more.
- Photo Frames. Our new photo frames have a tap-to-import capability that instantly auto-sizes new photos to fit the frame. Have perfectly cropped photos that fit your frame, every time.
- New User Onboarding Flow. We are drastically changing the way new users experience their first launch of Zinnia. All first-time users will be taken through a guided "new journal walkthrough" to set up their initial journal and first page. This walkthrough introduces key elements and functionality in the app, providing users a simple overview of what's possible.
- Updates to Auto-Date Templates. We are bringing some major improvements to our unique auto-date templates! We now support 15- and 30-minute increments on daily auto-date calendars, the ability to switch between 12- and 24-hour time, and have added a "clear all dates" option on all auto-date templates to show a blank, undated version. This is part of our effort to make every Zinnia template evergreen, meaning users can use their favorite templates over and over again - for any day, week, month, or year; past, present, and future.
- Major engine updates. Over the past several months, our team has been hard at work overhauling Zinnia's text engine and brush engine. These engine updates will provide significant improvements to how our users input text, draw with brushes, and hand-write with our writing tools.
