Interest in discussing religion within the Pigment Gallery is quite common. At Pigment, we focus on fostering a welcoming environment that celebrates creativity and art. To maintain this atmosphere, we have established specific guidelines regarding religious content.
Our Policy on Religious Posts
The aim of the Pigment Gallery is to offer a calming and inclusive environment. Regrettably, religious debates frequently result in disagreements, which can disturb the creative atmosphere we're dedicated to preserving. For this reason, we typically do not permit religious posts.
Moderation and Allowed Content
Our moderators have the authority to remove religious posts, but we also encourage discretion. We permit posts or comments of a religious nature that are widely accepted and likely to unify and build community. For instance:
- Be kind.
- Love thy neighbour.
- Do justice, love mercy, walk humbly.
- I'll pray for you.
- Thank God.
However, posts containing doctrine, debate, provocation, or religious texts that could be interpreted as such are not permitted. For instance:
- Jesus is the way.
- God is dead.
- Repent of your wrongdoings.
We appreciate that individuals harbour fervent and personal religious beliefs. Therefore, we request that members abstain from initiating these discussions in the Gallery. Our aim is to ensure that the time spent in the Gallery is devoted to creativity and art.
By sticking to these guidelines, we can all enjoy a harmonious and inspiring creative environment. Happy creating!
