Yes! Is the short response. Bear in mind, we do request anyone who imports an image created by someone else to be respectful of that artist by checking with them for permission to use their work and also give credit through proper attribution. Please read our articles about attribution and copyright.
When you register for the Gallery, you have agreed that you have read and will adhere to Pixite's Terms of Use. It is stated that:
"...by making any User Content available through Pixite’s apps, you hereby grant Pixite and other app users a non-exclusive, transferable, sublicenseable, worldwide, royalty-free licence to use, copy, modify, create derivative works based upon, distribute, publicly display, publicly perform, and distribute your User Content in connection with operating and providing the apps to you and others."
This implies that any artwork that is published to the Gallery is fair game for anyone else to utilise in any way, including Pixite. That implies, if you are publishing your own original works to the Gallery, other individuals might be inspired to colour your artwork themselves. We reckon that's brilliant, as long as they adhere to our attribution guidelines and are respectful of the original artist.
It is our aspiration that the Gallery is a supportive, respectful, and collaborative space where artists are inspired by one another's artwork. We hope to nurture an environment of sharing and learning where everyone can come together in the spirit of creativity!
