Transfer Journals Between Accounts

Transferring your journals between different accounts is a breeze, and we're here to guide you through it! You can do this effortlessly by sharing the files with yourself. Let's walk through the steps:

1. Sign in to the original Apple Account.
2. Open the app to the main journals page (the one that shows the journal covers).
3. For each journal you want to transfer:

• Tap the more options icon (…) on the lower-right corner of the cover.
• Tap Share Journal.
• Select the app you want to use for sharing (AirDrop, Messages, or email). Note: Email may not work for large journals.
• If you chose to share via AirDrop, choose the device to which you are moving your journals.
• If you chose to share via Messages, enter the new Apple ID used on the device to which you are moving the journals.
• If you chose to share via Email, enter an email address that you can access from the device to which you are moving your journals.
• Tap to Send (if appropriate).

After sharing all the journals you want to transfer, sign OUT of the original Apple ID and then do the following:

1. Sign IN to the new Apple ID.
2. Open the app you chose in step 3 for sharing your journal (AirDrop, Messages, email, etc.).
3. Tap the icon for each shared file to open it in the app and copy it to your new iCloud account location.
