While all your Zinnia data automatically gets saved to your iCloud (unless you've specifically disabled this), no system is 100% perfect. Best practices for anything that has important data is to be sure to have a good backup system in place. We have a couple recommendations for how to do this for Zinnia.
Zinnia Mac Backup All Journals:
If you have Zinnia Mac, there is an option to back up all of your journals & planners.
Here's how:
1. From the main Journals Page tap the more options icon (...) in the top right corner.
2. Tap Backup All Journals.
This will download everything and create an archived file that you can save to your Mac.
All Devices:
You can export your journals either as a PDF or as a .Zinnia file. If you choose Save PDF, then your pages will be flattened and in the future if you import the file back into Zinnia, the pages will no longer be able to be edited. However, if you use the Share Journal method, you can then save this to your files app or email it to yourself. When you tap on this file, it will open automatically in Zinnia and you'll be able to pick up from where you left off and edit it as normal.
