Meet your new favorite creative tool! The Shapes tool lets you add and customize geometric shapes, arrows, lines, and grids — perfect for building diagrams, trackers, layouts, and anything else you can imagine.
Add a Shape
- Tap or click the Shapes tool icon in the top navigation bar.
- Select a shape — squares, triangles, circles, and more are available.
- Tap and drag on your page to place the shape.
Customize Your Shape
Once a shape is placed, use the bottom toolbar to adjust:
- Sides — change the number of sides to create polygons of any kind
- Fill color — choose a color to fill the inside of your shape
- Stroke color — set the color of the shape's outline
- Stroke width — adjust how thick or thin the outline appears
Your settings are saved automatically. The next time you select the same shape, it'll pick up right where you left off — no need to re-customize every time.
Add Arrows & Lines
Looking to connect ideas, build a flow, or map something out? Tap the Shapes tool and select an arrow or line. Drag to draw it on your page, then use the bottom toolbar to adjust its color and stroke width.
Create a Grid Shape
Grid is part of the Shapes tool and makes it easy to build custom grids and trackers from scratch.
- Tap or click the Shapes tool icon in the top navigation bar.
- Select Grid from the shapes panel.
- Tap and drag to place the grid on your page.
- Use the bottom toolbar to customize:
- Columns & rows — set exactly how many you need
- Color — choose your grid color
- Spacing — adjust the space between cells
Tips
- Try combining shapes, arrows, and grids to build habit trackers, dashboards, calendars, and more.
- Since your shape settings are remembered, set up your preferred style once and it'll be ready to go every time.
- To edit a shape after placing it, just tap to select it and the customization options will reappear in the bottom toolbar.
