If you're looking to gift a subscription, while Apple announced the intention to allow subscription gifting, this hasn't been implemented yet. However, you can easily give someone a gift card! The recipient can use this to purchase subscriptions in the App Store.
Here’s a quick guide on how to do it:
- Open the App Store on your device and tap your Profile Icon.
- Tap Send Gift Card by Email.
- Enter the recipient’s email address, your name, and a message.
- Select the denomination and delivery date, then tap Next.
- Choose how you’d like the gift card to look and tap Next.
- Review your gift card and tap Buy.
