Note: Avoid deleting the app during the problem solving process so the developers can review the entire log file history.
Pages suddenly disappearing can be alarming, but don't worry! There are several ways to track them down and restore your content.
Page Version Restore
- Open a journal page.
- Tap on the ellipsis "…" icon (upper right corner).
- Tap on Restore Page Version.
- Look through these versions and see if there is one you'd like to restore.
If the above method doesn't help, you can look in other places within the app.
Restoring Deleted Pages in a Journal
- Open the journal and tap the ellipsis "…" icon in the upper right corner.
- Scroll through the menu to find Deleted Pages and tap that entry (this will not show up in your menu if you don't have any deleted pages).
- Any recently deleted pages will be displayed. Tap any page you want to restore and then tap Restore.
Alternative Methods
- Check the Files app > Recently Deleted for any pages or files to restore.
- Visit iCloud.com:
- Log in to iCloud.com.
- Go to Account Settings - Restore Files.
- Wait for the recoverable files list to finish loading.
- If there are any files related to your content, select them.
- Press Restore.
