Guidelines on Religious Content

Curiosity about whether you can discuss religion in the Pigment Gallery is quite common. At Pigment, we focus on fostering a welcoming environment for celebrating creativity and art. To maintain this, we have specific guidelines about religious content.

Our Policy on Religious Posts

The purpose of the Pigment Gallery is to provide a relaxing and inclusive space. Unfortunately, religious discussions often lead to disputes, which can disrupt the creative environment we're committed to maintaining. For this reason, we generally do not allow religious posts.

Moderation and Permissible Content

Our moderators have the authority to remove religious posts, but we also encourage discretion. We allow posts or comments of a religious nature that are broadly accepted and likely to unify and build community. For example:

  • Be kind.
  • Love your neighbor.
  • Do justice, love mercy, walk humbly.
  • I'll pray for you.
  • Thank God.

However, posts containing dogma, argumentation, provocation, or religious texts that could be interpreted as such are not allowed. For example:

  • Jesus is the way.
  • God is dead.
  • Repent of your sins.

We understand that individuals hold passionate and personal religious beliefs. Therefore, we ask that members refrain from opening the door to these discussions in the Gallery. Our goal is to ensure that the time spent in the Gallery is dedicated to creativity and art.

By adhering to these guidelines, we can all enjoy a harmonious and inspiring creative environment. Happy creating!
