Brush / Fill / Texture Not Colouring

Having problems with your brush or fill tool? You're in the right place! This guide will assist you in sorting out the issue swiftly.

Let's begin with three simple steps:

  • Restart your device: Sometimes, a simple restart can solve many problems. It's always the first recommended step, so let's check this off the list.
  • Update your app: Please visit the App Store and ensure you're running the latest version of Pigment.
  • Check the opacity setting: Ensure the opacity slider for the tool is at least halfway up. Adjust it and see if your brush or fill tool starts functioning.
  • Contact support: If the issue persists, we'll need additional information. Please email us directly from the app by following these steps:
    1. Open the app.
    2. Tap the Home tab.
    3. Tap the Info icon (looks like an 'i' in a circle).
    4. Select Email Support.
    5. If you have an existing ticket for this issue, please include the Ticket # in both the subject field and the message box.
    6. Send the email.
