Having trouble updating the app? No worries! Here are some general methods to rule out common problems.
First: Force Close
- If the App Store is open, please follow these steps to force close it.
- Reopen the App Store.
- Have you got an option to update now? If so, tap Update.
- After the update, Pigment will have the new features.
Second: Restart
- Restart your device.
- Reopen the App Store.

- After the update, Pigment will have the new features.
Third: Backup/Delete/Reinstall
These steps will ensure your artwork is safely backed up to iCloud.
- On your device, go into the Settings app.
- Tap your name, tap iCloud.
- Scroll until you find Pigment; ensure it is enabled (green).
- Allow iCloud to synchronise your work. If you have a lot of artwork, this may take some time. Wait for the spinning icon to finish.
- Once the backup is complete, delete Pigment from your device and reinstall it from the App Store.
- After reinstalling, Pigment will have the new features.
